Basile Moreau, CSC founder, was beatified and proclaimed "Blessed" by the Church during ceremonies in Le Mans, France. More>>

SR. JACQUELINE VERVILLE, CSC, PH.D. RECEIVES THE NH 2007 LITERACY AWARD
The Granite State Reading Council for the International Reading Association presented their 2007 award to Sr. Jacqueline Verville, CSC, Ph.D. on March 16, 2007. “This honor is bestowed upon select individuals who have made literacy relevant in the lives of children and adults. Sr. Jacqueline is certainly most deserving of this award and our admiration and respect.” More>>

BASILE MOREAU - LEGACY OF HOPE
On January 20, Sisters, Associates and friends of Holy Cross gathered to celebrate the day devoted to Basile Moreau. This 2007 celebration had a special flavor because all who are associated with Holy Cross are awaiting the Beatification of our Venerable Founder in Le Mans, France, on September 15. The day began with music and prayer as we invoked the Spirit and recalled Moreau’s invitation to "...look at Jesus and to walk in his footsteps." More>>
SISTERS' ARTWORK FEATURED IN LOCAL CALENDAR
Both Sr. Anna Berube, CSC and Sr. Florence Pelletier, CSC had artwork featured in 2007 NHHCA (New Hampshire Health Care Association) Member Masterpiece Calendar. The calendar was the result of an art contest among the residents living in NHHCA long-term care facilities. Of the numerous outstanding submissions received, only 13 could be chosen for this year's edition. More>>
DISARMING THE HEART: THE WAY OF NONVIOLENCE, THE HOPE OF THE FUTURE
At Holy Cross Center in Manchester, NH, (co-sponsored by Berakah and the Sisters of Holy Cross) both lay and religious attended a powerful and challenging presentation by Fr John Dear, SJ. He shared reflections on the world of violence and war vs. the alternative of nonviolence and peace. The challenge to follow Jesus in these times is to walk the way of Gospel nonviolence and to spread hope for a future of peace. More>>
SR. CECILE LEBEAU, CSC, RECEIVES AWARD
The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Burlington, honored Sr. Cecile Lebeau, CSC, with an award recognizing women in ministry. The celebration was held on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 3:00PM at the Church of St. Augustine in Montpelier, Vermont. Sr. Cecile works in Holy Angels Parish, St. Albans, VT. More>>
