Congratulations Sr. Doris Ouellette and Sr. Theresa Malouin
On March 10, 2009, Sr. Doris and Sr. Theresa received the prestigious
"Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Chamber of Commerce of
Hampton, NH. These two sisters are pastoral ministers at Our Lady of the
Miraculous Medal Parish and both have been known as "earthly angels" to
the town.
Sr. Doris was credited with launching the "Outreach Program" in 1982. This program consists of various committees and volunteers who work together to help those in need. She is also responsible for the "Adopted Grandparent Program" that connects students with the community at Sacred Heart School.
Sr. Theresa was honored for her work in the Outreach Program and for spending countless hours each year conducting services for residents at the Dearborn House.
We are proud of these two "Women of Mission" and their outstanding "spirit of service and personal outreach" in the following of Jesus as Blessed Basile Moreau, CSC, envisioned it for our congregation.
