IN LOVING MEMORY
Sr. Lorraine Paille, CSC
Sr. Mary Margaret of Hungary
August 30, 1925 - October 14, 2008
Sr. Lorraine Paille was born in Attleboro, MA and entered the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1944. She taught in elementary schools in Manchester, Rochester, Salmon Falls and Somersworth, NH. She also taught for 20 years at Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH. She served as Assistant Provincial Superior from 1977-1984 and as Provincial Superior from 1984-1990. She was a member of the Regional Team from 1995-1998. Her last assignment was as Local Animator at St. George Manor / Holy Cross Health Center from 2002-2005.
Due to declining health Sister Lorraine was transferred to Holy Cross Health Center. She will be remembered for her keen mind and her constant passion for justice for all. Always open to new ideas, Sr. Lorraine was "on mission" until the day she died. May she rest in peace.
