Sr. Mariette Charron, CSC
Sister Denise of the Redeemer
September 19, 1935 - August 13, 2008
Sr. Mariette was born in Nashua, NH and entered the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1955. She taught in elementary schools in New Bedford, Attleboro and Springfield, MA, No. Grosvernordale, CT and Manchester, Nashua, and Gonic, NH. She also served as Principal of Holy Infant Jesus School in Nashua. Sister Mariette also taught at Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua and at Castle Junior College in Windham, NH. After a long battle with cancer, Mariette was transferred to Holy Cross Health Center where she passed away.
She will be remembered for her generous heart and unfailing dedication. During her last days we witnessed Mariette ever holding her crucifix and calling upon Mary to assist her.
